Mini Haul /Buying For The Little

If you are the mom of a little boy, you know the struggle. Aisles and aisles of ruffles and dresses and strappy little sandals. Then a small selection of boys clothing, half of which being neon-colored with some ironic workout joke. Not exactly my style. The other catch with baby clothes? They wear a size for three months and then need a whole new wardrobe. Sure, you can spend a fortune for high fashion toddler pieces, but realistically, they're going to poop, puke, and spill food all over them for a couple months, then they'll be packed away if they're still salvageable.

We're not out of luck, though. I've had more luck than I thought I would in my search for affordability without sacrificing style.

Old Navy

is a big go-to. Not only is it already affordable, but they have sales like everyday.

Baby Gap

is another great one that is on sale often. Sign up for their email newsletters and you'll get 40% off sale alerts and coupons all the time. Other stores on the more affordable side, or affordable with sale side, are

Target

,

Osh Kosh B'gosh

, and

Carters

.

We had to stock up on some 18 month clothing for our little guy, so I thought I would share some pieces we found.

The biggest part of the haul was from Osh Kosh. We don't have one local, so we had to check out the one in Branson when we were there with family. They had sales going on almost everything, to my delight. I live for baby sweaters, so the little gray number above is one of my favorite pieces.

Jumpsuits are another favorite of mine. I'm a sucker for a baby in overalls. These particular ones are made of a comfortable, jersey knit material, so they'll be great for long-wear.

These were a couple of the items we got from Old Navy. Geoffrey's family has a tradition of going to Silver Dollar City every year, so the bunting was especially purchased for that. We got the jeans because it seems like all he has are knit leggings. They make him look too grown up though.

We found these shoes on clearance while on vacation, and couldn't pass them up. Baby shoes are the cutest. Even when said baby refuses to wear them very long. I hope this helped if you are having a hard time finding cute and affordable clothing for your little guy.
