Fall is my jam. I love everything about it. It has the best weather, holidays, and traditions. It's been awhile since I've been to a pumpkin patch, but it was a must with Thatcher. The last time was actually at this location, but at night for a haunted house, and on a kind of first date with Geoffrey haha. Almost eight years later, we're here with our little boy. With less fake blood and falling, fortunately. Thatcher was a bit young for most of the attractions, but we managed to have fun nonetheless.
This year has been one of ups and downs, with moments I felt overwhelmed with happiness, and times I felt so unfulfilled I wanted to quit everything. It's hard being a parent, and I know that's common knowledge, but it's more than it seems. It's easy to lose yourself when you become a mother, but it's so important to hold on to those things that are separate from parenting. It's a constant balancing act, but one worth enduring. Get out and take advantage of the greatest time of year! xx
